SOLGM and DIA have reached out to PAMG wishing to provide advice to government and the daily National Health Emergency briefings from government, and to include on the Covid-19 website, on the Parks Sector’s leadership for statements on essential park services.
Amanda has been working with SOLGM’s CEO on parks being fully represented in this briefing.
On the strength of feedback and discussion that went late into the night yesterday, I have summarised where everyone that responded is up to. Thanks so much to those managers that responded immediately. There is variation apparent in our approach (please see the attached) and we need to arrive at some level of statement that could be used by government, even if it is more descriptive and detailed in the Covid-19 website link provided to ours, and SOLGM can use it.
