The New Zealand Parks Leaders Forum is interested if our members and their affiliated Councils and organisations have undertaken any cost research for the question: Is it better to Spray or Cut berms and edges for weed control and did it influence your choice of solution?

This PLF intends sharing information gathered amongst those that participated in the survey and may produce an overarching summary to be shared with the network with the unanimous permission of participants.

Has Council undertaken any evaluation and research between the cost of cutting vs. spraying?
Which is the most common control method Council uses for weed control for edges?
What is the primary decision influence?
If research was undertaken did this influence Councils management choice?
Would you be willing to share your findings with the PLF?
