We are excited to invite you to the New Zealand Parks Leaders Forum Regional Meeting in the Western Bay of Plenty on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September 2026.
This two-day regional meeting will bring parks and open space leaders together for a series of site visits, practical demonstrations, briefings and conversations. The tour will showcase local projects, partnerships and approaches across a range of parks and culturally significant places.

Non-PLF members: $300
Non-members will be contacted following registration to arrange invoicing.
What is included
Two days of site visits, briefings and practical demonstrations
Kai and refreshments will be provided throughout the event, including a hāngī dinner on Wednesday and lunch on Thursday. Attendees will need to arrange their own breakfast before the tour begins on Thursday morning. Further catering details will be confirmed closer to the event.

Important travel information
This is a self-drive tour. Attendees will need to arrange their own transport between locations throughout the two days.
Travel to the Western Bay of Plenty and accommodation are not included. Attendees will need to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Closer to the event, we will help coordinate attendees into shared vehicles where possible.
Registrations are essential and close Monday 14 September 2026. Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
