I hold both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management from Lincoln University and am currently a Parks and Recreation Planner with Christchurch City Council. My career so far has spanned roles in both local and global consultancy environments, where I’ve focused on community infrastructure, open space, and recreation planning projects that deliver community outcomes. I am an ARPro-accredited professional and currently serve as Executive Officer for the World Urban Parks Asia Pacific Regional Committee, supporting leadership and collaboration across the region.
I am passionate about creating parks and public spaces that are inclusive, vibrant, and enhance community wellbeing. I have a strong understanding of strategic planning and policy development within the parks sector, and value evidence-based, community-driven decision making. I continuously strive to contribute my experience, professional insight, and enthusiasm in the parks industry in New Zealand.
