Hidden sculptures in Minnesota aren’t just any old trash!

Thomas Dambo, a Danish artist known for creating giant sculptures from recycled materials, has built five enormous trolls and a golden rabbit in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Using 25 tons of scrap wood and 300 volunteers, Dambo's creations range from 16 to 42 feet tall and are hidden in forested parks around the city. The installation, part of Project 412, aims to highlight environmental awareness and creativity. Visitors can explore the trolls and solve riddles to find the golden rabbit, making the experience both an adventure and a message about reusing trash. Dambo's work has gained international recognition, with over 139 trolls in 19 U.S. states and 20 countries. His mission is to show the beauty that can be created from discarded materials, emphasizing that "all trash is treasure."

Dambo's whimsical trolls bring joy while turning garbage into gold. Dive into the full story to discover the magic behind these enchanting giants and the delightful quest that awaits in Detroit Lakes!
