PARK MANAGER – CORNWALL PARK

• Key environmental role

• Lead park operations

Formed in 1901 as a park free for every New Zealander, the park has 172 hectares of heritage and ecology, in the heart of Auckland city. We are seeking an experienced park manger to lead park operations. The major task is maintaining Cornwall Park and One Tree Hill Domain to the highest standards of public enjoyment and safety. Candidates must have proven park management experience and a passion for conservation, public amenity, and heritage. Attention to detail, good interpersonal and relationship skills, and a pragmatic, hands-on style are important. A strong interest in the Park is essential. A competitive salary, vehicle and on-site family house make up the package. This conservation, development and public-facing role will be rewarding, working with experienced and dedicated staff, and an appreciative public, ensuring Cornwall Park retains its unique position and character for all New Zealanders.
